Job Description:
Coventus is looking for a skilled Microsoft Fabric & Power BI Developer with strong experience in enterprise analytics, data engineering, and reporting solutions. The ideal candidate should have hands-on expertise in Microsoft Fabric and Power BI, preferably within Banking, Financial Services, or FinTech environments.
Key Requirements:
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric.
- Expertise in Power BI, including Data Modeling, Power Query, DAX, dashboard development, and performance optimization.
- Strong SQL and database querying skills.
- Experience with Data Engineering concepts, including Medallion Architecture, Data Pipelines, ETL/ELT, Batch Processing, and Real-Time Analytics.
- Experience integrating data from multiple source systems and APIs.
- Knowledge of data governance, security, and role-based access controls.
- Experience in data migration and modernization initiatives, including migration of Excel-based reports to Fabric and Power BI.
- Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into analytics and reporting solutions.
- Strong communication and presentation skills with customer-facing experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Microsoft Fabric certifications (DP-600 and/or DP-700).
- Experience in Banking, Financial Services, or FinTech domains.
- Exposure AI/ML concepts and Microsoft Fabric AI capabilities.
- Experience with Fabric Agents, capacity unit (CU) optimization, and load planning.
- Good knowledge of Python.
- Strong Excel skills.
